i had the opportunity to create diffrent albums covers for music artists. it’s a special works because you have to translate the identity / vibes of the song into visual.

WAKING LIFE

the EP « waking life » talk about the spiritual elevation and takes consious of the inconsious. All of this in a rap style music.

So i created a dreamlike univers with this character who we dont knows if is fall in down or if he rise. many element like the rat or the dragon ( symol of transforation) appear like steps to overcome.

At the origin the EP had be called « Codéine » in reference to his song « Bleuets » who his talking about this drugs. So i create two propositon in this vibe. for the first one i keep the purple base to create a smooth desert of water, with a symbol of spirituality the ametyst.

In the second propositon the character is blocked behind the ice and try to escape. this popostion is oppose to the first with a more cold colors and a dark univers.

TOUT BOUGE
